IXIA is a floral design studio and garden, based in Nether Kellet, Lancashire, owned by Hannah-Victoria. IXIA specialises in creating designs for a limited number of weddings, events and private houses across Cumbria, Lancashire and North Yorkshire.

Inspired by a revival in small-scale flower farming, and by an increased appreciation for naturalistic designs, Hannah-Victoria’s designs consider colour, texture, scent and movement and appear fluid, organic and somewhat untouched. Hannah-Victoria’s work is strongly dictated by the bounty of her own garden, which is fundamental to her business. Here she personally grow’s unusual varieties of annuals, perennials, flowering bulbs and an abundance of garden roses, unavailable to high street florists, allowing her to create unique arrangements with unrepeatable recipes of flowers cut from IXIA’s garden, and from the gardens of her small network of reputable local growers.

Hannah-Victoria spent her childhood growing up in the rural English countryside, a stones throw away from IXIA’s studio and garden today. After training in floral design, both in the UK and oversees, she now finds inspiration from her primal memories, from the rolling hills and valleys of her childhood home. She now grows her own floral material in a garden based on a working dairy farm. She creates natural designs for a select number of weddings and events each year throughout Cumbria, Lancashire and North Yorkshire.
